The BEST arrachera in Chicago! Very authentic, home made tortillas, salsas and the seasoning is on point and don't forget the Queso fundido. Love the ambiance, a little tight on the seating so expect a wait but it's well worth it. Service is great and the waiters keep it moving. I highly recommend this place if you looking for life changing Mexican steak done the right way

This is a local gem! Super reasonable prices and they serve family style. Their carne asada is sold by the kilo with all the fixings, and is so tasty. I've also tried their char grilled chicken and shrimp kabobs and they are great. The flour tortillas are so fresh and soft, I imagine someone's abuela back there cranking them out. They are byob, so bring some sangria or beer and enjoy authentic delish food.

Except for the queso fundido, which I didn't care for, the food was excellent. We actually went on a Saturday night and then came back the next week to order basically the same thing. My husband had the arrachera, I had sabinas tacos, and we took an order of steak fajitas to go for my mom. All three dishes had a bunch of flavor -- it's hard for me to describe what made them so special but they really were. We'll definitely be back to try more things.

This was my first time at Canton Regio and it will definitely not be my last time! Fantastic. All around fantastic. Just a heads up to start - it's cash only so make sure you have physical $$$ if you plan on eating here. You could also pay a fee at the ATM they have inside too, if you don't mind that. Other than that, the experience was so good that it was hard to get me flustered. The food was great and the price was alright too. The service was top notch, the music was good, and the highlight of my time was their welcome appetizer taco, it was so simple yet so good. They even had handmade tortillas and I saw the lady literally making the tortillas in the restaurant, so cool. If you've never been (you're missing out) I highly recommend stopping by. Even if it's out of your way, give it a try. For sure worth it. Personal Review: 8.6/10
